lol thankfully my parents didn't listen to that garbage... My poor neighbor was raised in a deeply religious house and wasn't allowed to read it though. I felt bad for her.

I can't wait for the new film. I have been a fan since the beginning and am now introducing it to my young kids. It is one of the best series to date in my opinion. Hope they do HP and the Deathly Hallows justice.

I remember waiting in line for hours when the 2nd movie came out (and well the last book...my husband wasn't happy waiting for that lol). I've missed the last few movies though, haven't had the chance to watch them with 2 little ones running around now. But I'm uberly excited for the last movie(s) but sad that its done too (I almost cried reading the last book knowing there'd be no more). Excited!

When the last movie came out, I took my son to the midnight showing. He had a great time and loved looking at the costumed people. Would love to do it again!!

LOVE Harry Potter - was able to read it to my daughter when she was younger, she's now 14 and has read the last couple of books on her own, and now I have a 5 year old son that I am reading the entire series to again :)
