Oh Michael...

I'm going to preface this by saying I'm a fan of Michael Jackson's music. I always have been. But I will admit I wasn't too upset about his death. Tragic, yes, but the guy fell off the face of the Earth long before he passed on. If someone like Oliver James or Hilary Duff suddenly died, I'd be pretty sad because I listen to them a lot and like to get their new music when it comes out. I can't say I've bought anything by MJ in the past decade, so I wasn't exactly heartbroken. But hey, whatever... to each his own... so some people were deeply upset by the whole ordeal.

But seriously though, have you seen the paintings they got out of his collection??? The ones he commissioned of himself? I'll post them up and you can read them after the jump. When they were showing them on the news, I scoffed and mom got angry, asking what I thought was so gross. I replied that it showed just how much of a creeper he was. She got mad and went on about his having "Peter Pan Syndrome". I'm not saying I believe he raped little boys or whatever- that's between him and God now. Regardless of that, these pictures are straight creepy! I mean seriously, in one picture he's luring kids into his house with candy, and in another he's practically naked with little naked cherubs putting flowers in his hair!!! In all of the paintings, he's surrounded by children who are fawning all over him.

I love Peter Pan too. It's by far my most favorite children's story ever... And yeah, he may have been trapped in a perpetually child-like mental state... but when you were little, did you dream of being naked and posed like Michelangelo's David while cherubs put flowers in your hair? No... I thought not. Creeper.
