SANTA IS COMING! SANTA IS COMING!
I am SOOOOOOO excited!!! I'm at my Grandma's house in Maryland, and my whole family is here! We have a bunch of traditions which we do every year for Christmas. Grandma always has to make grilled cheese sandwiches while we're here (no one makes grilled cheese like Grandma!). For Christmas Eve dinner, we all set up a taco buffet and a bunch of friends come over to eat and hang out. I'm sure you're all thinking, "Tacos??? On Christmas Eve???" Yes... we don't rock the traditional turkey and what-not. I have no idea why, but we've done tacos my whole life!
On Christmas morning, we always have Pillsbury cinnamon rolls, and then we wait at the top of the stairs until our parents tell us we can come down. We spend the morning hanging out and opening presents. In the evening, we set up another buffet for dinner. We have all sorts of cheeses and meats (that we make sandwiches and stuff with) and other yummy stuff.
I'm excited to see what Santa brings, but I'm so stoked to give everyone the presents I bought! This is the first Christmas that I've had a legit paycheck, instead of a meager summer job that I've had to stretch the money I earned across an entire year. This is going to be so fun!
I'm also having a blast at Grandma's because she got SNOW!!! Actually, all of Maryland and Virginia got rocked with snow a few days ago. Record amounts. But guess what? Virginia Beach got rain! Everyone I know got two feet of snow and we got more rain! Fortunately, the snow lasted at Grandma's. save a bit that melted. She's still got at least 12 inches on the ground, which is more than double the most snow I've ever seen. I haven't seen snow since freshman year of college, and the most I've ever seen was about 4-5 inches when I was 11. My cousin and I are about to go out and play in the most snow I've ever seen in my life!!!
So, I hope everyone has a fantastic Christmas Eve and I'll share some pictures of the snow with all of you tomorrow!!!
