Final Potter Film to Include Sex Scene???

**Just as a quick aside, someone interpreted this post as me being totally against sex in film. Period. That's not true. I could care less. My issue is with it being in a children's series that has been perfectly awesome without it up to this point. Frankly, I think they're alienating a fan base, because some parents may not take their kids to see it now.

I CAN'T believe they're going there! I just CAN'T!!! Did you hear? There's going to be a nude sex scene in the final Harry Potter flick! :oO This is NOT OK! It's just NOT! For those who have read the books, you'll know when I'm speaking of when I say it'll be from the very end of the book. But REALLY??? Sex?!

From an article (My opinions in bold):

Harry Potter fans are abuzz this week with news that the final film installment, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows," will likely include a dream sequence featuring Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) and Hermione (Emma Watson) in a "very sexy" nude scene. This is not cool. It's not in the book (Harry and Hermione are not a couple EVER), and millions upon millions of people loved these books WITHOUT the sex!

Next to the perpetually shirtless Twilight vampires, Harry Potter looks "a little staid," says Stuart Heritage in Britain's Guardian. By showing a little skin, Harry is just trying to keep up with the competition. Are we referring to the shirtless Edward? The most hideously unattractive guy to ever grace the big screen, flashing his sprayed on abs and glittering? Oh yeah... it gets me all hot and bothered every time I think about it...

[A scene] director David Yates created exclusively for the big screen, while axing parts of author J.K. Rowling's original manuscript. Can JK stop this from happening? I mean, if she wasn't keen on it, she can tell them no, right? It's her character and it's copyrighted, so she has that power? I hope so... I can't imagine she'd be ok with this...

I can't accept this as true... It's got to be an elaborate hoax. JK Rowling wouldn't let anything like this happen to her story.

Yea, you're probably right. If they don't stick close enough to the story, they might as well name it something else b/c it's not Harry Potter. Harry Potter need not compete w/ Twilight~They're two different worlds~HRMagoo.com

I remember before the second book came out there were rumors about a date rape scene in it, so maybe this will unfold just like that rumor did. *fingers crossed!*

Oh I heard that it was going to be a dream scene that Ron's having about Harry and Hermione (remember when he gets all scared that they have a thing for each other?)

Jill- I can see that being the case... I just don't understand why he can't dream about them snogging or something! Why bring sex into the franchise?
